Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Educational Psychologist to join our student support services team in Centurion. You will assess learning needs, provide counseling and develop interventions for students, collaborating with parents, teachers and administrators to promote wellbeing and academic success.

The role requires a Master's in Educational Psychology, HPCSA registration, and at least 3 years' experience with children and adolescents in educational settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Educational Psychology or related field.
• Registered with HPCSA as Educational Psychologist.
• Minimum 3 years experience with children/adolescents in educational settings.
• Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychological assessments.
• Excellent report writing, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-educational assessments to identify learning disabilities and emotional challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and support strategies.
• Provide counseling and guidance to students facing academic, social, or emotional difficulties.
• Consult with teachers and parents to support learning at home and school.
• Facilitate staff and parent workshops on child development, learning, and mental health.
