Placements24 seeks a qualified Educational Psychologist to join our educational community in Randburg, Gauteng. The role focuses on identifying learning difficulties and addressing emotional and behavioral challenges to boost academic success.

You will conduct psycho-educational assessments, provide counseling, and work with teachers and families to implement intervention plans. A Master's degree and HPCSA registration are required, with strong communication and ethical practice.

Qualifications

• Requires Master's degree in Educational Psychology.
• Registration with HPCSA as Educational Psychologist is required.
• Experience in psycho-educational assessments and interventions.
• Strong knowledge of child/adolescent development and psychopathology.
• Excellent communication and ethical practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-educational assessments to identify learning and behavioral challenges.
• Provide individual and group counseling for students facing academic or emotional difficulties.
• Develop and implement intervention plans with teachers, parents and professionals.
• Offer consultation and training to teachers and parents on child development and strategies.
• Contribute to school-wide mental health initiatives and support systems.
