Placements24 is seeking an Educational Psychologist to support students in Cape Town. You will conduct assessments, provide counseling, and develop interventions to address learning, behavioral, and mental health needs within educational settings.

You will work with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments, deliver workshops, and contribute to holistic student well-being in the Cape Town education landscape.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Educational Psychologist.
• Proven experience in conducting psychological assessments and interventions with children and adolescents.
• Strong understanding of child development, learning theories, and mental health principles.
• Excellent diagnostic, counseling, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
