Job summary

Bayswater Education in Cape Town is seeking a multilingual sales adviser to join our global education network. You will handle inquiries by phone, email, and online channels, advise on courses and the enrolment process, and nurture a sales pipeline to reach targets.

Collaborating with Admissions, Marketing and partner schools, you will ensure a smooth student journey while maintaining accurate CRM records and delivering courteous, professional service in English and additional EU languages where

Qualifications

• Fluency in written and spoken English and at least one EU language (German, Spanish or French) is required.
• Previous sales experience in education, study-abroad, travel or services is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence handling sales conversations by phone.
• Experience with CRM systems and maintaining accurate records.
• A degree in business, marketing, languages or related field is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to sales enquiries by phone, email, website and marketing channels.
• Advise prospective students on courses, destinations and enrolment process, supporting them through the sales journey.
• Maintain accurate CRM records with enquiry details, follow-up notes and sales outcomes.
• Follow up promptly with prospects, manage pipeline and work toward sales targets.
• Deliver excellent customer service to students and partners, communicating professionally.
• Follow internal processes and resolve routine issues, escalating when needed.
• Collaborate with Direct Sales, Admissions, Marketing and schools to ensure a smooth student experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to sales enquiries received by phone, email, the website and marketing channels, including social media, Google Ads and online directories.
• Advise prospective students on suitable courses, study destinations and the enrolment process, and support them throughout the sales journey.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company CRM, including enquiry details, follow-up notes, activities, tasks and sales outcomes.
• Follow up promptly with prospective students, manage a varied pipeline and work towards agreed sales and conversion targets.
• Deliver consistently excellent customer service to students and partners, communicating in a courteous, clear and professional manner.
• Follow internal processes and procedures, resolve routine issues efficiently and elevate matters when appropriate.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Direct Sales, Admissions, Marketing and the schools to ensure a smooth student experience.

Requirements: Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

• Fluency in written and spoken English and German / Spanish / French or other EU language.
• Previous sales experience, ideally in the education, study-abroad, travel or services sector.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence handling sales conversations by phone.
• Experience working with international customers or in a multicultural environment; overseas study or work experience is an advantage.
• Good organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and follow-ups accurately.
• Comfortable working towards targets, managing competing priorities and performing under pressure.
• Confident using CRM systems and digital communication tools; experience with a CRM is an advantage.
• A degree in business, marketing, sales, languages, tourism or a related field is desirable.
• Additional language skills (e.g., Arabic, Spanish or another language) are desirable.
• Customer service experience is desirable.
