Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Digital Learning Specialist to drive educational technology integration across institutions in Randburg. You will design, develop, and implement digital learning experiences and resources, ensuring engaging material aligns with learning outcomes.

You will collaborate with educators and IT to integrate LMS platforms (Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas), evaluate initiatives, and research new tools and approaches to improve learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• A degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field with a focus on educational technology.
• Proven experience in designing and developing digital learning materials.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas) and various authoring tools.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive and engaging digital learning content and resources.
• Provide training and ongoing support to educators on effective use of educational technology and LMS platforms.
• Research and recommend new digital tools and pedagogical approaches to enhance learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with IT departments to ensure seamless integration and functionality of digital learning systems.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of digital learning initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.
