Job summary

Placements24 in Rustenburg is seeking an Educational Technology Specialist to lead the integration and management of digital tools across the campus. You will support teaching and learning by deploying LMS, interactive whiteboards, and other educational software while training staff and students in effective usage.

You will collaborate with IT and academic leaders to troubleshoot issues and evaluate new technologies that align with institutional goals, ensuring seamless technology adoption

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Educational Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Educational Technology Specialist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), interactive whiteboards, and other educational software.
• Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in developing and delivering technical training sessions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse user groups.

Responsibilities

• Implement, manage, and maintain a range of educational technology tools and platforms.
• Provide training and ongoing support to faculty and staff on the effective use of educational technologies.
• Evaluate and recommend new educational technologies that align with institutional goals.
