Placements24 is seeking a Digital Marketing & SEO Specialist for a thriving e-commerce business in Paarl, Western Cape. The role focuses on boosting online visibility, optimizing for organic growth, and blending technical SEO with content marketing to drive qualified traffic.

You will work with the marketing team in a hybrid setup, applying analytics tools to monitor performance, refine strategies, and contribute to overall digital marketing success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or related field.
• 3+ years in SEO and digital marketing, ecommerce focus.
• Proven success in improving organic rankings and traffic.
• Proficiency with SEO tools: GA, GSC, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs.
• Strong technical SEO and content marketing understanding.
• Experience with keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building.
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is beneficial.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis for organic growth.
• Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies including content optimization and link building.
• Develop and execute a content marketing strategy to improve rankings.
• Monitor website performance using SEO tools and report key metrics.
• Stay updated on SEO trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with web development and content teams to ensure technical health.
• Assist in managing paid search campaigns and optimize campaigns.
• Analyze digital marketing performance across channels and contribute to strategy.
