Placements24 is seeking an enthusiastic E-commerce Operations Assistant to support day-to-day operations in East London, Eastern Cape. This entry-level to mid-level role focuses on listing management, order processing, logistics coordination, and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate in Business Administration is a plus.
• Experience in administrative, operations, or customer service roles is beneficial.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms or online marketplaces is advantageous.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential.
• Proactive, positive attitude with willingness to learn and grow in a team.

Responsabilités

• Assist with managing product listings on the e-commerce platform, uploading new products and updating information.
• Process customer orders accurately and ensure timely dispatch.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
• Respond to customer inquiries related to orders, shipping, and returns in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocktake activities.
• Prepare shipping labels and packaging materials.
• Resolve order fulfillment issues or discrepancies as they arise.
• Ensure the online store’s operational aspects are well-maintained.
• Support the E-commerce Operations Manager with administrative tasks.
• Contribute to improving operational processes and efficiency.
