Placements24 is seeking a motivated Junior E-commerce Assistant to join our client’s online operations team in Kimberley. This entry-level role supports product listing, order processing, customer inquiries, and website maintenance, offering a solid foundation in digital commerce.

You will collaborate with the e-commerce manager, learn about inventory control, shipping logistics, and content updates while developing essential skills for a career in online retail. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business or Marketing is a plus.
• Experience in customer service or retail is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn about e-commerce.

Responsibilities

• Upload and maintain product listings on the e-commerce website with accuracy.
• Process online orders, manage shipping logistics, and track inventory.
• Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone.
• Update website content and ensure product information is current.
• Prepare simple creative assets or copy for social media and email.
• Perform general administrative tasks to support the e-commerce team.
