• Advanced, hands-on proficiency with Shopify, Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics; creative with Canva/Adobe Suite.

Responsibilities

• E-Commerce & Marketplace Management: optimize Shopify store for mobile-responsive design and up-to-date listings.
• Oversee technical website operations: payments, apps, and inventory sync.
• Manage Takealot marketplace account with stock replenishment and seller health.
• POS, Inventory & Order Fulfilment: synchronize Retail Pro with Shopify and monitor stock levels.
• Marketing, Creative & Supplier Relations: set up Meta and Google Ads campaigns and create digital assets.
• Analytics & Financial Reporting: track performance and report insights.

E-Commerce Manager position available in Johannesburg.

Our Retail client in Sandton, Johannesburg, is looking for an experienced E-commerce Manager with 4-5 years’ experience.

You will lead and drive the digital commerce ecosystem, delivering a frictionless customer experience across all online touchpoints.

This position is accountable for scaling the retail brand through innovative web optimization, high-converting digital advertising, efficient POS administration, and meticulous inventory management.

Salary R40 000 - R55 000 per month.

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant Diploma, or Certificate (advantageous).
• 4-5 Years of proven experience bridging online retail, e-commerce management, digital marketing, and retail operations.
• Takealot Account Management experience
• Advanced, hands-on proficiency with Shopify, Meta Ads Manager and Google Analytics Creative Skilled in digital content production (Canva / Adobe Suite) alongside compelling commercial copywriting.
• In-depth understanding of multi-channel inventory control, warehousing logistics, and marketplace dynamics.
• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively manage both external customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• E-Commerce & Marketplace Management
• Manage and optimize the Shopify store to ensure a mobile-responsive design, intuitive navigation, and up-to-date product listings.
• Oversee technical website operations, including payment gateways, app integrations, and inventory synchronization.
• Manage the Takealot marketplace account, ensuring regular stock replenishment and high seller health ratings.
• POS, Inventory & Order Fulfilment
• Act as the lead administrator for Retail Pro, keeping it accurately synchronized with Shopify.
• Monitor stock movements to maintain optimal inventory levels across web channels and marketplaces.
• Oversee end-to-end order fulfilment, including processing manual orders, returns, exchanges, and replacements.
• Marketing, Creative & Supplier Relations
• Set up, monitor, and optimize Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads campaigns to drive traffic and conversions.
• Create digital promotional assets (website banners, mailers, and social content) using Canva or Adobe Suite.
