Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Project Manager to lead ERP or CRM implementation projects. You will drive end-to-end delivery, from initiation to go-live and post-go-live support, coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The role requires a proven track record of delivering at least one full Dynamics 365 implementation, strong governance, and excellent communication skills to manage scope, budget and risks.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Project Manager to lead and manage Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation projects across either ERP or CRM environments.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering Dynamics 365 projects and must have managed at least one Dynamics 365 implementation end-to-end, from initial project initiation and planning through to implementation, go-live and transition into support.

This role would suit a Project Manager with experience across Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), Business Central (BC), Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE/CRM) or closely related Microsoft Dynamics environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of Dynamics 365 implementation projects.
• Manage projects from initiation through to go-live and post-go-live transition.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones and delivery schedules.
• Manage project scope, budget, resources, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Coordinate internal teams, technical specialists, functional consultants, developers, third-party suppliers and client stakeholders.
• Work closely with Dynamics 365 Functional and Technical Leads to ensure solutions are delivered according to agreed requirements.
• Manage project governance, reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Lead project meetings, steering committees, status meetings and delivery workshops.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks, issues and dependencies.
• Manage change requests and ensure appropriate impact assessments are completed.
• Monitor project progress against agreed milestones, budgets and deliverables.
• Ensure effective communication between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Coordinate testing, UAT, training, data migration, cutover and go-live activities.
• Support the development and execution of go-live and cutover plans.
• Ensure appropriate documentation, knowledge transfer and handover into BAU/support.
• Manage post-go-live activities and ensure successful project closure.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager / Programme Manager within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• At least one full end-to-end Dynamics 365 implementation delivered, ideally with direct responsibility for project delivery.
• Experience taking a Dynamics 365 project through key stages including:
• Discovery / initiation
• Requirements and solution design
• Planning and mobilisation
• Testing / UAT
• Training
• Cutover
• Go-live
• Post-go-live support / transition
• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 implementation methodologies and project lifecycles.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders across both business and technical teams.
• Strong project governance, planning and reporting experience.
• Experience managing project risks, issues, budgets, scope and dependencies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

The candidate must have demonstrable experience managing at least one Dynamics 365 ERP or CRM implementation from initiation through to successful go-live.

Candidates who have only managed generic IT projects, or who have worked on Dynamics 365 projects without direct responsibility for the implementation lifecycle, will not be considered suitable.
