A multinational company that manufactures and sells specialty coatings, sealants, building materials, and related services worldwide is seeking a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant who will take end-to-end ownership of D365 implementations, managing project scope and collaborating with key stakeholders to align business requirements with optimal technical solutions.
Enterprise Support & Triage: Provide day-to-day support for D365 environments across 15 companies and 700+ end users, managing and resolving helpdesk tickets.
System Enhancements & Reporting: Lead requirements gathering and documentation for new or modified reports and application features.
Implementations & Compliance: Assist with new D365 rollout projects, resolve application errors or security vulnerabilities, and collaborate with audit teams to maintain SOX compliance.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Coordinate and execute end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation support for system updates.
Training & Documentation: Develop clear user documentation and conduct orientation and training sessions for modified or new functionality.
Experience: 3-5+ years supporting or administering Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 / D365 in an enterprise setting.
Education: Bachelor's degree (or Associate's degree with equivalent professional experience).
Domain Knowledge: Experience supporting manufacturing operations (GL, AP, AR, Warehousing, Production, Product Management) across large-scale or multi-entity company structures.
ERP Implementation & Certification: Full-lifecycle ERP implementation experience and D365 Functional Certification.
Security Administration: Expertise in D365 security role configuration, including Segregation of Duties (SoD).
Data & Analytics: Proficiency with SQL Server (query writing), SSRS, and Power BI.
Add-ons & Project Management: Experience with D365 ISV applications and 2+ years of project management background.
