Job summary

OUTsurance in Cape Town is seeking a driven Broker to grow and develop the short-term insurance portfolio, selling personal and commercial lines. You will prospect, canvass for new business and build a robust client base with a focus on relationship management and leadership within a team.

Qualifications

• Matric or NSC completed.
• FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications (depending on DOFA).
• RE5 (depending on DOFA).
• Must have own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access to the vehicle.
• Valid code B driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Grow and develop the business insurance portfolio by building a book of short-term insurance.
• Sell personal lines and Commercial lines by prospecting and canvassing for new business sales.
• Develop relationships and expand client base through lead generation and cold calling.
