Job summary

Momentum Insure is seeking a diligent Short-Term Insurance Adviser to write personal and commercial lines. You will work independently or in a team to meet targets, build a healthy pipeline, and achieve monthly written policies. A strong FAIS background and RE5 are essential, with ongoing CPD compliance.

You must have a valid driver’s license and own car, plus solid IT and social media networking abilities to engage clients effectively.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.
• FAIS credits (min 30) or full recognised FSCA qualification as per regulations.
• RE5 regulatory exam is required.
• 12 CPD points if 1 line; 18 CPD points if both commercial and personal lines.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in selling short term insurance as broker or tied agent.
• All regulatory exams and accreditation must be in place.
• Computer skills include Calendar management, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Source leads to build a healthy income-generating pipeline.
• Minimum of 8.5 written policies per month.
• Maintain and update Lead Generation Matrix weekly.
• Conduct comprehensive needs analysis with prospects.
• Perform according to business KPIs and targets.
• Stay informed on product comparisons and changes.
• Be compliant with FAIS conduct and professional guidelines.
