Job summary

Momentum Insure is seeking an energetic Short-Term Insurance Adviser in George, Western Cape, to write personal and commercial lines, meeting targets set by Momentum Insure. You will operate both independently and in a team, generating leads and achieving monthly policy issuance.

Applicants must hold Matric, FAIS qualifications or FSCA certification, RE5, and have at least 3 years’ insurance sales experience. A valid driver’s license and car are required.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.
• FAIS Credits (min 30 credits for pre-2010 appointments) or full recognised FSCA qualification.
• FAIS Regulatory examination for Representatives (RE5).
• 12 CPD points if 1 line of business; 18 CPD points for both personal and commercial lines.
• Minimum 3 years' experience selling short term insurance as broker or tied agent.
• All regulatory exams and accreditation completed.
• Computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and calendar management.
• Strong social media presence and networking ability.
• Own transport with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Source lead generation opportunities to maintain a healthy pipeline.
• Achieve minimum of 8.5 written policies per month.
• Maintain and update Lead Generation Matrix weekly.
• Conduct needs analysis with prospects and discharge advisory responsibilities.
• Perform in line with business KPIs and regulatory guidelines.
• Stay informed on product comparisons and updates to Momentum Insure.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to FAIS codes of conduct.
