Placements24 is seeking an Event Logistics Coordinator to manage the logistical aspects of events in and around Nelspruit. This on-site role covers venue setup, AV, catering, staffing, and on-site support, with planning and administrative tasks handled remotely as needed.

You will work with the events team to bring creative visions to life, develop detailed timelines, coordinate vendors, manage budgets, and ensure seamless delivery across a hybrid work model; weekend availability is required for

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in event logistics, operations, or a similar coordination role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in event management software and standard office applications.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model, including weekend availability for events.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all logistical elements for events, including venue setup, AV, catering, and staffing.
• Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with various event vendors.
• Develop and maintain detailed event timelines and schedules.
• Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring all logistical aspects are managed effectively.
• Manage event budgets related to logistics and supplies.
