Placements24 is seeking an energetic Events Coordinator in Nelspruit to lead planning, execution, and post-event analysis for fundraising galas, community workshops, and outreach activities.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless logistics, engaging attendee experiences, and achievement of event objectives within an office-based team. This role offers growth and community impact.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Events Coordinator or similar role.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• A passion for event planning and delivering memorable experiences in Nelspruit.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of assigned events, from conception to completion.
• Manage event budgets, vendor negotiations, and venue logistics.
• Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to promote events effectively.
• Oversee event setup, on-site management, and guest experience.
• Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback and reporting on outcomes.
• Liaise with internal staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders to ensure event success.
