Job summary

Mr Price Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Miladys at Fountains Mall in the Eastern Cape. You will lead daily operations, drive sales targets and uphold customer service standards.

The role covers stock management, inventory controls, store compliance, and staff coaching. You will partner with management to deliver KPI results and implement local marketing and promotions.

Qualifications

• Grade: 12
• 3 Years’ experience in an Assistant Store or Store Managerial position.
• Retail trade.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock receiving, unpacking and replenishment to keep floor stocked.
• Monitor stock levels through counts and action plans to reduce loss.
• Maintain stockroom housekeeping and authorize write-offs and returns.
• Analyse sales and profitability reports to drive action plans and control store expenditure.
• Review in-store product performance and provide feedback to support centre.
• Identify opportunities to boost sales and brand awareness through local events and campaigns.
• Conduct compliance checks (admin, audits, POS, health & safety) to enforce policies.
