Job summary

Mr-Price-Group is seeking an Assistant Manager in the North West region of South Africa. The role supports the Store Manager in their absence, maintaining housekeeping, merchandising standards, and security, while driving staff performance and customer service to meet store targets.

Responsibilities include managing the front end, cash office, and implementing sales initiatives. Prior clothing retail experience and a strong grasp of store operations are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 (Mathematics an advantage) or NQF Level 4.
• Previous experience managing a department.
• Previous clothing retail experience would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Relieve store manager; maintain housekeeping, merchandising, shrinkage control, discipline and security.
• Assist store manager in managing staff and customer service; implement sales initiatives to reach store targets.
