Job summary

HotelJobs is seeking a Duty Manager with spa oversight to join our luxury lodge team in the Eastern Cape. The role combines day-to-day lodge operations with spa management to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

You will lead guest relations, manage staff, and coordinate spa services while upholding service standards in a high-end environment. Availability for shifts, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years' experience in a Duty Manager or similar hospitality role.
• Some experience in managing or overseeing a SPA and SPA therapist.
• Experience in luxury lodges, safari lodges, boutique hotels, or resorts preferred.
• Strong guest relations and customer service skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and property management systems.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee spa bookings, scheduling, and guest treatments.
• Ensure therapists deliver exceptional service and maintain treatment standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years' experience in a Duty Manager, Assistant Lodge Manager, Front of House Manager, or similar hospitality role.
• Some experience in managing or overseeing a SPA and SPA therapist
• Experience within luxury lodges, safari lodges, boutique hotels, or resorts preferred.

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
