Placements24 is seeking an experienced Social Media E-commerce Manager to spearhead social commerce initiatives in Durban. You will blend marketing acumen, social media expertise, and ecommerce funnel strategy to drive product discovery and direct sales.

The ideal candidate embraces social trends, has a keen eye for visuals, and translates social interactions into revenue. This is an on-site role based in our Durban offices, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years in social media marketing with e-commerce focus.
• Proven success in driving sales via social strategies.
• Experience with social media tools and analytics.
• Strong copywriting and basic visual design/video editing skills.
• Creative storyteller with community-building flair.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a team environment.
• Willing to relocate to Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
