Placements24 in Durban seeks a Social Media Community Manager to grow and nurture our online community for an e-commerce brand. You will be the voice across platforms, respond to inquiries, and foster meaningful relationships with customers and advocates.

You will monitor feedback, identify influencers, and collaborate with marketing and support teams to maintain consistent messaging. This on-site role requires excellent English communication and a passion for e-commerce community growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Social Media Community Manager or similar role in e-commerce.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to engage with diverse audiences and build positive relationships.
• Experience with social media monitoring and management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Brandwatch).

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement strategies for community engagement across all social media platforms.
• Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, customer feedback, and relevant conversations.
• Respond promptly and professionally to comments, messages, and inquiries, acting as a primary point of contact.
• Foster a positive and engaging online community environment, encouraging interaction and user-generated content.
• Identify and engage with brand advocates and influencers within the community.
• Manage online reputation and address customer concerns or negative feedback constructively.
• Collaborate with marketing and customer service teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and customer support.
• Track and report on community engagement metrics, sentiment analysis, and key performance indicators.
• Stay informed about social media trends, platform updates, and best practices for community management.
• Organize and execute online community events, contests, and Q&A sessions.
