Placements24 seeks a Senior IT Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure and systems projects in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. You will oversee scope, risks, budgets, and stakeholders, coordinating with IT teams, vendors, and business units to deliver on time and to spec.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years in IT project management, with proven leadership, vendor management, and a solid grasp of Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid methodologies, plus PMP/Prince2 certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• PMP or Prince2 certification is required.
• 6–8 years of progressive IT project management experience, with infrastructure focus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and close IT infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage risks, issues, and scope.
• Coordinate with IT, vendors, and business units for alignment.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and resource forecasts.
• Communicate status to senior management and sponsors.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL practices and company standards.
