Job summary

Switch Recruit (Pty) Ltd in Gauteng is seeking a hands-on Driver Manager to own a dedicated fleet of owner-drivers within a fast-paced last mile logistics operation. You will manage daily performance, compliance, engagement and productivity of approximately 17 drivers while ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational efficiency in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience within logistics, fleet operations, transport management or last mile delivery environments.
• Experience with route management, driver performance monitoring and delivery optimisation systems.
• Strong driver management experience including coaching, compliance management, performance monitoring and real time issue resolution.
• Ability to manage owner-drivers or delivery teams within a high volume, service driven operation.

This role is responsible for managing the daily performance, compliance, engagement and productivity of approximately 17 drivers while ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational efficiency.

Requirements
