Job summary

Switch Recruit seeks a hands-on logistics professional to manage a team of ~17 drivers in Midrand, Gauteng. The role focuses on daily performance, compliance, engagement and productivity to deliver exceptional service and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure, lead teams effectively and drive performance in a high-volume delivery environment with strong Excel reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience within logistics, fleet operations, transport management or last mile delivery environments.
• Proven experience working with route management, driver performance monitoring and delivery optimisation systems.
• Strong driver management experience, including coaching, compliance management, performance monitoring and real time issue resolution.
• Demonstrated ability to manage owner-drivers or delivery teams within a high volume, service driven operation.
• Experience in reporting using MS Excel.
