About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Fleet Driver Manager to oversee their fleet operations in Polokwane . This role is responsible for ensuring the efficiency, safety, and compliance of all vehicles and drivers. You will manage driver schedules, monitor vehicle performance, and implement strategies to optimize logistics. This is a leadership position for someone with a strong background in transport management and a keen understanding of operational challenges in the Polokwane area.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule daily operations for the fleet of delivery vehicles.
• Ensure all drivers adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
• Monitor vehicle performance, maintenance schedules, and fuel efficiency.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize accidents and ensure driver well-being.
• Track and manage driver performance, providing feedback and training as needed.
• Coordinate with dispatch and sales teams to ensure efficient delivery logistics.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fleet management or a supervisory role in transportation.
• Valid driver's license, preferably with PDP.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using fleet management software or related systems.
• Knowledge of the Polokwane region and its transport infrastructure is advantageous.
