Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced District Sales Manager to lead the George sales team in the Western Cape. You will drive revenue growth, expand market share, and execute strategic sales plans across the district.

You will coach a team of sales representatives, nurture key client relationships, and pursue new business opportunities while aligning with marketing and product teams to ensure successful outcomes in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in sales with at least 3 years in management.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of the Western Cape market; ability to travel within the district.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve district sales targets.
• Manage, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to maximize performance.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and partners in George, Western Cape.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Conduct regular sales meetings, provide training, and ensure product knowledge is up-to-date.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
• Ensure adherence to company sales policies and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
