Placements24 is seeking an Area Sales Director to lead sales operations in George, Western Cape. You will develop sales strategies, lead a high-performing team, and cultivate relationships with distributors and retailers to drive revenue growth.

The role requires 10+ years in consumer goods sales, with 5+ in leadership, strong negotiation and CRM skills, and willingness to travel within the territory. A competitive package includes performance-based incentives.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve regional revenue targets.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives and managers to maximize performance.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
• Manage the sales pipeline, forecast sales, and report on progress to senior management.
• Ensure effective territory management and resource allocation.
• Develop and execute promotional plans and marketing initiatives to support sales efforts.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and training to the sales team.
• Represent the company at industry events and trade shows in the George, Western Cape area.
