The role demands strong leadership of a large team, cost control, budgeting, and continuous improvement through WMS and other supply chain technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in distribution centre management or a senior logistics operations role.
• Proven track record managing large-scale warehouse operations and significant teams.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, order fulfillment, and transportation logistics.
• Expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant supply chain technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Willing to work on-site at the Kimberley distribution centre.

Responsabilités

About the Role

Our client, a leading national retailer with an extensive network of stores, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Distribution Centre Manager to lead their flagship facility in Kimberley . This is a crucial on-site leadership role responsible for the efficient and effective management of all warehouse operations, ensuring timely dispatch of goods to retail outlets across the Northern Cape and surrounding regions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in distribution management, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a commitment to operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
