About the Role

Our client, a leading national retailer with a growing presence, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Regional Distribution Manager to oversee their distribution network in the Mahikeng, North West province. This critical role will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, optimizing inventory, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods to retail outlets and customers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of distribution center operations in the Mahikeng, North West region, including receiving, warehousing, inventory management, and dispatch.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
• Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics coordinators.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards within the distribution centers.
• Optimize inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and transportation teams to ensure seamless supply chain integration.
• Implement and utilize technology, such as WMS, to improve operational visibility and control.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in distribution management or warehouse operations.
• Proven leadership experience managing large teams and complex distribution operations.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and logistics principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Experience working effectively in a hybrid environment, demonstrating adaptability and strong remote management capabilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouse environments.
