Job summary

Exceed Human Resource Consultants in Milnerton, Western Cape, seeks a Dispatch Supervisor to supervise drivers and loading staff, coordinate daily route planning, and ensure accurate order documentation. Your role ensures quality, safety and efficient loading.

You will lead a small team, monitor attendance, uphold labelling and temperature-control standards, and train new staff to follow procedures in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatch, logistics or warehouse operations.
• Experience supervising drivers and loading personnel.
• Strong organisational and detail orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of product handling and temperature-control procedures advantageous.

• Assist with daily dispatch route planning and loading activities.
• Coordinate and oversee the loading of customer orders.
• Ensure all orders, invoices and trip sheets are correctly documented.
• Check products for correct labelling, batch numbers, packaging and weight before dispatch.
• Ensure temperature and quality standards are maintained.
• Monitor attendance and report absenteeism to the Logistics Manager.
• Ensure staff follow company procedures, safety requirements and job responsibilities.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the dispatch area.
• Reduce product wastage and stock damage during loading.
