Job summary

Tower Tech Solutions (Pty) Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher to manage material movements, ensuring proper documentation and safe, compliant dispatch of steel components and fabricated parts.

You will collaborate with production leadership to keep workshop operations running smoothly, while maintaining quality and HSE standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven dispatching experience in manufacturing, steel fabrication, or industrial workshop.
• Strong ability to read drawings and identify components using part numbers and job references.
• Forklift Driver’s License with proven experience.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch management and quality verification for materials scheduled for dispatch to clients and galvanizing suppliers.
• Ensure steel components are correctly stamped with drawing and site reference numbers.
• Confirm pre- and post-galvanizing reports are completed prior to dispatch.
• Prevent non-compliant or damaged materials from leaving the facility.
• Generate delivery documentation and secure signed delivery notes.
• Safely operate forklift for loading, offloading, and internal material movement; conduct safety checks.
• Provide workshop support and uphold HSE standards during daily operations.

About the Role

As our Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in managing material movements—ensuring all steel components and fabricated parts dispatched to clients and galvanizing suppliers are 100% compliant, properly documented, and delivered safely.

You’ll work closely with our production leadership to keep workshop operations running seamlessly and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch Management & Quality Verification:
• Prepare, verify, and release materials scheduled for dispatch to clients and galvanizing suppliers.
• Ensure all steel components are correctly hard stamped with required Drawing Part Numbers and Site Reference Numbers.
• Confirm pre-galvanizing and post-galvanizing reports are completed prior to dispatch.
• Prevent non-compliant, damaged, or incorrectly stamped materials from leaving the facility.
• Generate delivery/dispatch documentation and secure signed delivery notes upon receipt.
• Forklift Operations & Material Handling:
• Safely operate the forklift for loading, offloading, and internal material movement across departments.
• Adhere to all safety standards and conduct regular equipment checks.
• Workshop & Safety Support:
• Provide general operational and material handling support across the workshop as needed.
• Uphold strict Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, including basic fire-fighting preparedness and emergency support.

Requirements

• Education: Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• License: Valid Forklift Driver’s License with proven experience.
• Experience:
• Proven dispatching experience in a manufacturing, steel fabrication, or industrial workshop environment.
• Strong ability to read drawings and identify components using part numbers and job references.
