Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to lead the PPC and SEO function. You will oversee the PPC strategist and the SEO strategist, owning channel strategy, budget allocation as accounts scale, and the department's overall delivery.

This is a management seat, not an IC role. You will own standards, audits, client-facing calls, and hiring plans for your team, while the specialists execute. Remote collaboration across regions is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years across paid media and SEO.
• Experience leading teams of strategists or specialists.
• Comfortable with client-facing ownership and escalation.

Responsibilities

• Own channel strategy and budget allocation as accounts scale.
• Lead and review the PPC and SEO strategists' work and development.
• Define audit standards and ensure honest, clear reporting.
• Own client communications when accounts are at risk.
• Plan hiring for the department and participate in early interviews.
