Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in golf course management or a related senior hospitality role.
• Experience in budget management and financial forecasting.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• PGA Class 'A' certification is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for the golf course and related facilities to maximize performance and profitability.
• Oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance, agronomy, and groundskeeping to ensure pristine playing conditions.
• Manage the golf shop, including inventory control, merchandising, and staff supervision.
• Organise and promote golf tournaments, member events, and corporate outings.
• Develop and manage the annual operating budget for the golf division, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
• Lead, train, and motivate the golf operations team, including golf professionals, starters, marshals, and grounds staff.
• Implement and maintain high standards of customer service for all members and guests.
• Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to attract new members and increase rounds played.
• Oversee the management of the halfway house and beverage cart operations related to the golf course.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and club policies.

This senior leadership role is responsible for the overall strategic management and successful operation of all golf-related activities, including course maintenance, clubhouse operations, golf events, and revenue generation. The Director will oversee a dedicated team, ensuring an exceptional experience for members and guests alike. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of golf course management, hospitality, marketing, and financial stewardship.
