Job summary

FirstRand Limited's FNB Points of Presence in Thaba Nchu invites applications for the Universal Advisor talent pool. You will deliver compliant sales and service solutions to walk-in and existing customers in a high-volume banking environment.

You will promote digital channels, educate customers, build lasting relationships, and ensure interactions align with FAIS, FICA, TCF principles and governance standards while supporting local market needs.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 or NQF 4 certification.
• NQF Level 5 Banking or related certification preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in customer-facing financial services.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage long-term client relationships to support retention and growth.
• Provide a positive customer experience by addressing transactional needs and expectations.
• Educate customers on the correct banking platform for their needs.
• Connect with customers with the brand promise: 'how can we help you?'
• Analyze customer data to provide appropriate financial advice aligned to client goals.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Achieve individual and branch sales and service targets.
• Act ethically and take accountability for performance and development.
• Show empathy and stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge.
• Manage leads, referrals, and follow-ups within agreed turnaround times.
