Job summary

Tiger Brands is seeking a Despatch Supervisor to manage onsite shift dispatch operations in Pretoria. You will lead the dispatch team, coordinate truck loading and holding cage transfers, and drive site development systems to ensure smooth daily performance.

You will also oversee stock control, enforce SOPs, ensure FIFO compliance, supervise staff, and uphold safety and quality standards while contributing to MECP-based improvements and other workplace initiatives.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent.
• 2-3 years' experience in FMCG.
• Problem solving skills.
• People management skills.
• Preference may be given to candidates from designated groups per equity plan.

Responsibilities

• Despatching of bread following SOPs and work instructions.
• Stock control with FIFO processes and stock management SOPs; complete recons and minimize audit findings.
• People supervision including allocation of work, performance management, and labour Manning.
• Maintain safety and quality by following Health and Safety regulations and ensuring equipment is safe.
• Lead workplace improvements and participate in MECP and related activities.

Drive and maintain Team Connect and Shop floor development system.**Key Performance Area** **Despatching of bread** Ensure Dispatching of bread follows applicable SoPs and Work Instructions **Stock Control** Ensure FIFO processes and stock management SOPs are followed Ensure recons are completed Avoid/limit audit findings **People Supervision** Supervision of Employees including allocation of work, performance management, manage discipline and labour manning **Safety and Quality** Utilize allocated cleaning materials in maintaining the high standard within the relevant work area Ensure set Ensure adherence to the Health and Safety regulations. Ensure allocated equipment is safe to operate and all safety features are operational. Ensure that all evident unsafe situations are reported and attended to immediately. Ensure familiarization and compliance with all company policies, practices and procedures and the manufacturing protocol. Follows safe workplace practices and can report workplace hazards **Work Place Improvement** Lead the Invocoms sessions.
