Job summary

Tiger Consumer Brands Ltd. in Pretoria is seeking a Despatch Supervisor to oversee shift dispatch operations, ensure high service standards, and drive efficient loading of trucks.

The role requires 2-3 years’ FMCG experience, Matric or equivalent, and strong problem solving and people management skills. You will supervise staff, ensure FIFO stock control, comply with SOPs, and support safety and quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Despatching of bread following SoPs and Work Instructions.
• Manage stock and ensure FIFO processes and accurate reconciliations.
• Supervise staff, allocate work, monitor performance and attendance.
• Maintain safety and quality standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Lead workplace improvements and MECP-related activities.

Despatch Supervisor responsible to manage efficient shift dispatch operations and maintaining high service standards. Play a crucial l role in ensuring and oversee the smooth shift dispatch operations, manage the team, coordinates loading of trucks, cage transfers to holding cages and personnel effeciently. Drive and maintain Team Connect and Shop floor development system.

Key Performance Area

Despatching of bread

• Ensure Dispatching of bread follows applicable SoPs and Work Instructions

Stock Control

• Ensure FIFO processes and stock management SOPs are followed
• Ensure recons are completed
• Avoid/limit audit findings

People Supervision

• Supervision of Employees including allocation of work, performance management, manage discipline and labour manning

Safety and Quality

• Utilize allocated cleaning materials in maintaining the high standard within the relevant work area
• Ensure set Ensure adherence to the Health and Safety regulations.
• Ensure allocated equipment is safe to operate and all safety features are operational.
• Ensure that all evident unsafe situations are reported and attended to immediately.
• Ensure familiarization and compliance with all company policies, practices and procedures and the manufacturing protocol.
• Follows safe workplace practices and can report workplace hazards

Work Place Improvement

• Lead the Invocoms sessions.
• Participate and or identify non compliances to be addressed using the SGA process.
• Application of manufacturing Excellence Methodology i.e. MECP, 20keys.
• Participate in all MECP activities

Minimum Requirement

• Matric or equivalent
• 2-3 years' experience in FMCG
