Job summary

Clicks Centurion DC is seeking a Dispatch Supervisor to coordinate operational activities in a multi‑disciplined centre, taking full responsibility for KPI delivery and service levels.

You will lead a team, drive productivity, plan staffing against volume and budgets, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while maintaining high customer service.

Qualifications

Essential: Matric (Grade 12).
Desirable: Relevant tertiary qualification.
Experience: 3–5 years in a Distribution Centre.
Preferably 1 year in dispatch department.

Responsibilities

Coordinate dispatch and distribution activities within a multi‑disciplined environment.
Lead daily SGM meetings and address performance and training needs.
Manage staff to meet productivity targets and take remedial action.
Plan staffing based on volume and budget.
Ensure KPI board is completed accurately and on time.
Deliver high levels of customer service.
Enforce health, safety and internal policies.

Clicks Centurion DC is on the hunt for an exceptional Dispatch Supervisor, who will be responsible for the co-ordination of operational activities within a multi-disciplined environment, assuming full responsibility for all key performance indicators.

Purpose and Objectives

Will be responsible to effectively manage a team ensuring adherence to policies and processes and meeting of productivity targets, within a multi-disciplined environment.
To hold the daily SGM meetings, addressperformanceand training needs to ensure improvement.
To manage employees to achieveproductivity targetsand take remedial action where required
To assist in planning for staff requirements based on volume, aligned to planned budget
To action and manage daily/weekly reporting
To adhere to statutoryhealth and safetyrequirements, housekeepingstandardsand all other internalpoliciesto ensure compliance
Ensure that the KPI board is completed correctly and timeously
To achieve the KPI’s in the department within planned budgets and schedules and ensure a proper handover between shifts
