Job summary

RCL FOODS in Krugersdorp is seeking a Despatch Coordinator to ensure timely dispatches, coordinate replacements, and maintain uniforms within the despatch team. You will oversee data capture, daily recon documentation, and reconcile/confirm returns and transfers to despatch, while upholding accurate stock records and route sales reconciliations.

This role requires meticulous attention to logistics, customer service focus, and hands-on management in a busy despatch environment within Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all trucks are dispatched timeously in the morning
• Arrange replacements of despatch staff where necessary
• Ensure that the despatch team is always wearing uniform
• Arrange internal distribution labour where necessary
• Complete the despatch recon document daily
• Maintain prescribed records of goods received and despatched
• Enhance excellent customer service in the despatch department
• Reconcile/oversee despatch foreman recons daily
• Ensure all data captured is correct
• Verify production transfers daily and confirm returns to despatch
• Balance despatch recons’ daily sales with van sheets daily sales per route
• Count and record all returns to stock of all drivers on the return slip
• Oversee stock variances and report to management
