Job summary

PayTech Group in Johannesburg seeks a Delivery Manager for Implementation Services focused on Digital Payments. The role is contract-based (on-site) for 6 months, with potential extension.

You will lead delivery engagements, mobilise resources, and coordinate across clients and partners to ensure successful payment solution implementations. The ideal candidate brings 7–10 years in technology-enabled delivery, strong PM and communication skills, and experience in banking/digital payment contexts.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in technology-enabled project or programme delivery.
• Strong project/programme management and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary technology delivery teams.
• Good understanding of Agile, software delivery lifecycles, systems integration, testing and QA, and governance.
• Ability to operate independently in a client-facing environment across multiple engagements.
• Strong PowerPoint, Excel, written communication, and executive reporting capability.

Responsibilities

• Support mobilisation and delivery of client implementation engagements.
• Translate client and project requirements into clear delivery plans, resources, milestones and workplans.
• Coordinate specialist resources across BA, PM, software development, UI/UX, testing and QA, and implementation support.
• Manage delivery tracking, dependencies, risks, issues and actions across engagements.
• Coordinate across product teams, clients, agencies, contractors and delivery partners.
• Assist with statements of work, resource specs, project plans, governance packs and executive status reporting.
• Maintain pipeline visibility, capacity requirements and forward resource demand.
• Help improve repeatable delivery processes, templates and governance.
