Delivery Consultant (Contractors in IT Transformation)

Job Overview

The Recruitment Delivery Consultant is responsible for efficiently sourcing candidates, managing relationships, and ensuring quality delivery that aligns with client needs and company standards. As part of the Talent Delivery team, they build talent pools, ensure quick placements, and maintain quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing & Talent Pooling

• Build, maintain, and rigorously map talent pools within your specialist vertical
• Source both active and passive candidates using varied techniques (headhunting, networks, job boards, referrals, social channels)
• Ensure all candidate data and interactions are accurately logged in CRM

Candidate Engagement & Management

• Conduct detailed qualification calls and structured candidate interviews to ensure the role fit
• Provide full briefing and preparation for candidate interviews; perform thorough debriefs
• Manage candidates throughout the full recruitment lifecycle - CV submission, interview stages, offer management, and onboarding

Shortlisting & Delivery Excellence

• Provide high-quality shortlists, typically within 48 hours of receiving a brief (Delivery KPIs)
• Ensure candidates are fully informed and that submitted profiles are complete, accurate and high-quality

Client-Facing Delivery Support

• Support consultants and client teams through the preparation of shortlists, intelligence gathering, and role‑specific insights
• Participate in client briefings and support in managing expectations around timelines, talent availability and market conditions

Market & Intelligence Gathering

• Collect and store market insights, client intel, and competitor information, and share with stakeholders
• Use market mapping to anticipate hiring needs and drive proactive candidate sourcing engagement

Requirements

Skills & Experience Required

• UK Recruitment experience and Contractor Recruitment
• Proven experience working with contractors in IT transformation projects specifically (BA, PM's, etc)
• Proven experience in candidate sourcing, talent pooling, and delivery operations
• Demonstrated experience delivering resourcing across international markets, adapting sourcing strategies to regional talent landscapes, cultural nuances, and varied client needs requirements
• Strong communication and rapport‑building skills with both candidates and internal stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple roles at pace in a process-driven environment
• Familiarity with CRM/ATS systems such as Salesforce
• Understanding of contingent recruitment, advisory‑led managed services, or Project‑based delivery is advantageous
