About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking recruitment consultancy, is looking for an experienced and driven Recruitment Lead to manage and grow their IT & Digital Transformation recruitment function. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within South Africa. You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative recruitment strategies, leading a team of remote recruiters, and cultivating strong partnerships with key clients in the rapidly evolving technology sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the IT landscape, exceptional leadership qualities, and a proven ability to deliver exceptional recruitment outcomes. This role is critical to our client's expansion into remote-first recruitment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of remote recruitment specialists focused on IT and digital transformation roles.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to attract top-tier tech talent globally.
• Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle for complex IT and digital transformation positions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on talent acquisition strategies.
• Drive business development efforts to expand the client base within the IT and digital transformation sectors.
• Implement and refine recruitment processes for optimal efficiency and candidate experience in a remote environment.
• Mentor and coach the recruitment team, fostering a collaborative and high-achieving remote culture.
• Analyze recruitment data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and their impact on the talent market.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in recruitment, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior specialist role within IT recruitment.
• Proven track record of success in sourcing and placing candidates in roles such as Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Cloud Architects, and Project Managers.
• Strong understanding of the digital transformation landscape and key technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating remote teams.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, effective in a virtual setting.
• Proficiency with modern recruitment technologies, ATS, and CRM systems.
• Ability to work autonomously and drive results in a fully remote setup.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
