Job summary

Ad Talent Africa is seeking an experienced Employment Equity Officer to drive Employment Equity and DEI initiatives across the organisation based in Durban. You will handle EE compliance, data analysis and reporting, while engaging with management and staff to implement practical actions.

The role combines governance, data-driven insights and project coordination, requiring 3–5 years in EE/DEI or related HR experience, with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to advancing

Qualifications

• Three to five years' experience in Employment Equity, Diversity & Inclusion or related HR role.
• Strong knowledge of SA EE legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience with EE reporting, data handling and HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of Employment Equity strategies, policies and programmes.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to promote DEI across the organisation.
• Assist with recruitment, retention, promotion and succession practices with EE considerations.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees on EE and DEI topics.
• Support EE training, workshops and awareness initiatives.
• Maintain EE documentation and assist with reporting and audits.
