Job summary

DP World in South Africa seeks a Debtors/Accounts Receivable coordinator to ensure accurate and timely customer billing, debt collection, and debtor reporting. You will work with the Debtors team to support managerial decision-making.

The role requires 5–6 years of related experience, a Grade 12 or Diploma, and strong planning, communication and analytical skills. You will operate under set procedures and governance, driving service levels and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 and/or Diploma with 5 to 6 years related experience.
  • Previous experience in relevant environment will be an advantage.
  • Presenting and communicating information.
  • Analysing Reports.

Responsibilities

  • Execute own work and team work according to set operating procedures and service level agreements.
  • Execute own work and teamwork in line with governance and compliance processes.
  • Monitor and report on own and teams’ transactional activities to provide timely information for decision making.
  • Plan, co-ordinate and deliver own and team activities to ensure that agreed standards and operational objectives are met.
  • Co-ordinate and participate in learning interventions to establish a learning and development culture within the team.
  • Create an engaging, enabling and productive work climate aligned to the employee value proposition by demonstrating leadership through personal commitment to organisational values.
  • Co-ordinate and monitor daily work activities within the team environment in order to prevent financial losses.
  • Co-ordinate team activities to meet and exceed internal and external customer expectations.
  • Allocate debtor payments and/or remittances.
  • Maintain, follow up and report on debtors age analysis.
