A global logistics company in Johannesburg is looking for a professional to coordinate and control quality within a business applications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring team activities, ensuring compliance with operational objectives, and creating a positive work environment. A Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT and up to 5 years of experience in a similar role are required, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

To coordinate and control the quality of the work activities of a team accountable for supporting business applications and systems enabling the optimal functioning thereof, contributing to managerial decision-making.

Key Performance Areas

• Execute own work and team work according to set operating procedures and service level agreements.
• Execute own work and teamwork in line with governance and compliance processes.
• Monitor and report on own and teams’ transactional activities to provide timely information for decision making.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver own and team activities to ensure that agreed standards and operational objectives are met (daily to 3 months).
• Coordinate and participate in learning interventions to establish a learning and development culture within the team.
• Coordinate and monitor daily work activities within the team environment in order to prevent financial losses.
• Coordinate team activities to meet and exceed internal and external customer expectations.
• Resolve escalated ICT user support requests.
• Create an engaging, enabling and productive work climate aligned to the employee value proposition by demonstrating leadership through personal commitment to organisational values.

Qualifications Required:

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in information technology, or a related field.
• Professional certification within the field.
