Nedbank is seeking a Debt Counselling Agent on a fixed term contract to recover debt and assets by following internal and legal processes and procedures. You will rehabilitate accounts by contacting clients and third parties, monitor arrangements, and manage credit loss, SLA compliance, and risk with a focus on stakeholder communication and timely updates to client profiles.

This role requires 2 years in credit collections and matric.

Qualifikationen

• Matric/Grade 12 or NSC is required.
• 2 years experience in credit collections is required.
• Strong knowledge of banking terms, data analysis and risk controls.

Aufgaben

• Monitor accounts to meet SLA and turnaround times.
• Rehabilitate accounts by contacting clients and third parties.
• Reduce impairments and credit loss by applying collections strategies.
• Respond to general queries on risk or arrears in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate client profiles and update system records.
• Escalate high-risk matters to stakeholders as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Nedbank policies and regulatory requirements.
