Job summary

takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is seeking a DC Industrial Engineer System to join our Supply Chain Team in KZN DC. The role covers daily WMS administration, issue resolution, and developing dashboards to support DC operations.

You will collaborate with IT and WMS vendors to implement upgrades, perform system testing, QA, and provide user support across departments. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in DC operations and hands-on experience with WMS systems such as Oracle,

Qualifications

3+ years of relevant DC operations experience.
Experience with WMS systems such as Oracle (Logfire), Manhattan, Red Prairie, SAP or HighJump.
Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or B.Comm Logistics degree preferred.
High level of proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

Day to day administration of Oracle WMS – user maintenance and access.
Interface between DC Operations and WMS Vendor; log issues and track trends.
Performing routine audits of systems and operational processes.
Understanding & participating in stock sync, OS updates, patches and config changes.
Liaise with IT to ensure network uptime and data integrity.
Develop reporting and dashboards from WMS data for OPS management teams.
Test and roll out proposed new Oracle functionalities and upgrades.
