Job summary

Takealot Group in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, is seeking a DC Industrial Engineer System to join our Supply Chain Team at KZN DC. The role focuses on Oracle WMS administration, system troubleshooting, and cross-functional process alignment to support DC operations.

You will interface with the WMS vendor, perform system audits, and contribute to dashboards and reports for OPS management. The environment is fast-paced and requires strong analytical and collaborative skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience within DC operations.
• Experience with WMS systems such as Logfire(Oracle), Manhattan, Red Prairie, SAP, HighJump or similar.
• Degree or study in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or Logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Day to day administration of Oracle WMS – user maintenance, access, profiles and locations; level 1 support to DC operations.
• Interface between DC Operations and WMS vendor for issue logging and resolution; report on issue trends.
• Perform routine audits of systems and operational processes.
• Assist with stock sync, OS updates, patches and configurations.
• Develop reporting and dashboards from the WMS database for OPS management teams.
