Job summary

Pet and Pool is seeking a detail-oriented Data Capturer to join the Midrand Head Office on a full-time basis. You will handle high-volume data entry, document verification, and secure archiving to support operations, inventory, and customer records.

You will transcription into central databases, cross-check against source documents, and maintain data integrity while collaborating with warehouse and customer service teams.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is the minimum educational qualification.
• Experience in data entry, admin support, or clerical record-keeping.
• Excellent keyboard proficiency and numeric accuracy.
• Strong MS Office skills and database entry familiarity.
• Must have reliable transport and commute to Midrand daily.
• Proficient English communication and attention to detail.
• Legal work eligibility in South Africa and immediate availability.

Responsibilities

• Capture and transcribe high volumes of data into central databases.
• Verify data accuracy against source documents.
• Maintain electronic filing systems and archives.
• Reconcile discrepancies with supervisors.
• Generate daily/weekly/monthly data capture reports.
• Assist with clerical duties and document management.
• Ensure data privacy and information security standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, and customer service teams.
