SavageOne Pty Ltd in Johannesburg is seeking an Intermediate Data Capturer to input, update and verify data across internal systems. You will maintain data integrity, meet daily targets and support multiple departments with accurate information.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Intermediate Data Capturer to support our data operations. The ideal candidate will have strong typing accuracy, data management skills, and a proactive attitude toward maintaining data integrity. You will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and verifying data into internal systems while adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
Capture, update, and maintain accurate data from various sources into internal systems and databases.
Verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
Assist in data clean-up, validation, and reconciliation projects as needed.
Work collaboratively with team members and departments to resolve data discrepancies.
Perform regular quality checks and ensure compliance with data entry protocols.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to company data policies.
Generate basic reports or summaries based on captured data when required.
Meet daily and weekly data entry productivity targets.
Education:
Matric / Grade 12 minimum
A relevant certificate or diploma in Office Administration, IT, or Business would be advantageous
Experience:
5+ years of experience in a data entry or data administration role
Experience working with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and databases (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Salesforce, SAP)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Fast and accurate typing skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Familiarity with data protection regulations (e.g., POPIA, GDPR)
Previous experience in sectors such as finance, healthcare, or retail is a plus
Ability to adapt in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
